CASEarth Data

The Earth Big Data Sharing Service Platform provides approximately 5 PB (1 PB=1024 TB) of multi-domain data covering fields such as earth observation, biological ecology, atmospheric and oceanic sciences, biological species, and microbial resources. This sharing platform will offer global users systematic, diverse, dynamic, and continuously updated Earth big data that adheres to globally unique standardized identifiers. By establishing a data sharing system integrating data resources, computing power, and services, it will advance a new model for Earth science data sharing. As the portal for data resource release and sharing services under the Earth Big Data Special Project, the data sharing service system provides multiple data discovery modes—including project categorization, keyword searches, tag cloud filtering, and data association recommendations. It also enables various data acquisition methods such as online downloads and API access. Supporting customizable queries and online viewing/previewing of data in multiple formats, the system can address diverse personalized demands, offering statistical analysis, collection management, personalized recommendations, download tracking, and user evaluation services.
